Control
Permissions
Permissions set what Lyric may reach and do on your behalf: with each group of people you work with, in the applications you connect, on your devices and in your projects.
People
On the Relationships page, each group of people has permissions for what Lyric may do with them, each Allowed, Ask first or Never:
| Permission | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Read conversations | Reading your conversations with the group's people |
| Draft replies | Preparing replies to them for you |
| Send replies | Sending replies to them |
| Share availability | Telling them when you are available |
| Schedule meetings | Arranging meetings with them |
| Cancel meetings | Cancelling meetings with them |
Applications
Lyric works only in the applications you connect. Connecting an application gives Lyric the access you grant when you sign in to it, and disconnecting it ends that access. In an organization, administrators decide who may use each connector. See Connectors overview.
Devices
In Settings › Context and privacy, choose what Lyric may take in from your device:
| Setting | Choices |
|---|---|
| Camera | Shared photos only, or Never |
| Location | While using the app, Always, or Never |
Projects
On Lyric Teams and Lyric Enterprise, each project sets what its members may do: create tasks, add people, upload files, start conversations, and edit the summary and details. See Project settings.
In an organization
Your role sets what you may manage, and the organization's policies and boundaries set what Lyric may do for everyone in it. See Roles and permissions and Policies.
