Usage
Do conversations with Lyric consume action minutes?
No. A back-and-forth conversation with Lyric does not consume action minutes. When a conversation results in work, such as generating a document, writing code, researching, a task, a goal or a workflow, that work consumes action minutes while it is in progress. It is reported under its own category: Tasks, Goals or Workflows.
Does the autonomy level affect consumption?
Yes. One minute of work consumes 0.25 action minutes at Observe, 0.65 action minutes at Assist and one full action minute at Delegate.
Are action minutes consumed while Lyric awaits my approval?
No. Consumption stops while Lyric awaits your approval and resumes when the work resumes.
Does Lyric's daily self-reflection consume action minutes?
No. Lyric's daily self-reflection does not consume action minutes. A self-reflection you initiate does.
When do my allowances renew?
Action minutes and compute renew on your billing date each month. On annual plans they renew monthly on the same day. On Lyric Free, compute renews on the day of the month the account was created, and action minutes are counted over any 24 hours.
What does Lyric Free include?
Tasks, at the Observe level. Lyric performs one task in any 24 hours, with 7.5 action minutes, which is 30 minutes of work. Goals and projects come with Lyric Pro, and workflows and scheduled jobs with Lyric Max.
Do unused action minutes carry over to the next billing period?
No. Unused action minutes and compute do not carry over.
What happens if my action minutes are exhausted while a task is in progress?
The task in progress runs to completion. If you hold usage credits, new work continues and draws on them; otherwise, no new work begins until your allowance renews.
What is the difference between project storage and core compute storage?
Project storage holds the files you upload to projects. Core compute storage holds the files Lyric creates in your workspace while performing work on your behalf.
Does the information Lyric retains about me count toward storage?
No. Your context, including evidence, memories and relationships, does not count toward either storage allowance.
Plans and billing
Which connectors are included with Lyric Free?
Lyric Free includes a curated set of 50 connectors, each published by the developer of the application. Every other plan includes the full catalog.
When does an upgrade or downgrade take effect?
An upgrade takes effect immediately and is charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period. A downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing period.
What happens to my workflows and API keys if I downgrade?
They are kept but become inactive, and resume if you upgrade again. Nothing is deleted.
Can I purchase more action minutes?
Yes, on every plan, including Lyric Free. Purchase usage credits on Settings › Usage and use them for Observe, Assist or Delegate action minutes at $0.50, $1.30 and $2.00 per 100 minutes of work. Minutes of a higher level can also be used for lower-level work.
How long do usage credits remain valid?
Purchased credits remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Promotional credits expire on the date shown when they are granted. Credits that expire soonest are used first.
Will I be charged automatically for more credits?
Only if you turn on automatic reload. It is off unless you turn it on.
What happens if a payment fails?
The charge is retried for one day on individual plans, or three days on Lyric Teams and Lyric Enterprise. If it still cannot be collected, the plan is paused and the account works as Lyric Free until payment is made. No data is deleted.
What happens to my files if I move to a plan with less storage?
No files are deleted. Storage above the new allowance is charged to usage credits; without credits, new uploads are declined until your storage is within the limit of the new plan.
Can I get a refund?
Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or where we state otherwise at purchase. Refunds for purchases made through Apple are handled by Apple.
Organizations
Are action minutes shared across a Lyric Teams organization?
Each seat receives its own allowance. Usage credits purchased by the organization are held in a shared pool, available to any seat once its own allowance is used.
Can administrators view my usage?
In an organization, administrators and the account holder can view the usage of each seat.
What happens to a seat's usage when the person assigned to it changes?
A seat's usage for a billing period stays with that seat.
