| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Account holder | The person who holds an organization's subscription. Appoints administrators and, on Lyric Teams, manages billing. |
| Action minute | One minute of work Lyric performs on your behalf, counted at the rate of the autonomy level of the work. The primary allowance on every plan. |
| Administrator | A person the account holder appoints to manage an organization's people and settings. |
| Allowance | The amount of a type of usage a seat receives in each billing period, or, for storage, the most a seat may hold at any time. |
| Ask first | The handling choice for a task, goal or workflow in which Lyric prepares the work and asks for your approval before consequential actions. Corresponds to Assist. |
| Assist | The autonomy level at which Lyric prepares changes and acts only after your approval. Consumes 0.65 action minutes per minute of work. |
| Autonomously | The handling choice for a task, goal or workflow in which Lyric performs the work on its own, without asking for approval. Corresponds to Delegate. |
| Autonomy level | How much Lyric does on its own: Observe, Assist or Delegate. The levels available depend on your plan and, in an organization, your administrators. |
| Billing period | The period between two billing dates. Action minutes and compute renew at the start of each billing period. |
| Budget | A spend limit in an organization, set for the whole organization or for selected people, and for all usage or one type of usage. |
| Capability | Something Lyric has learned to do reliably, earned from the outcomes of its work. Learning, Unlocked or Locked. |
| Compute | Processor time used by the programs Lyric runs on your behalf, measured in core hours. |
| Concurrent tasks | The number of your tasks Lyric performs at the same time. Further tasks wait and begin automatically. |
| Connector | A connection to an application or service in which Lyric works on your behalf. |
| Core compute storage | Files Lyric creates in your workspace while performing work on your behalf. |
| Core hour | A unit of compute equal to 3,600 processor seconds. |
| Delegate | The autonomy level at which Lyric performs the work on its own, without asking for approval. Consumes one action minute per minute of work. |
| Employee | A person in an organization who is not an administrator or the account holder. |
| Goal | An outcome Lyric pursues until it is achieved, set aside or past its target, by planning and performing tasks toward it. Set by you or by Lyric. |
| Manual | The handling choice for a task, goal or workflow in which Lyric investigates, reports and tracks while you take every action yourself. Corresponds to Observe. The only choice on Lyric Free. |
| Observe | The autonomy level at which Lyric investigates and reports without acting in your applications. Consumes 0.25 action minutes per minute of work. |
| Premium seat | A Lyric Teams seat with larger allowances: 14,400 action minutes, 45 core hours, and 20 GB of each type of storage. |
| Project storage | Files you upload to projects. |
| Purchased action minutes | Observe, Assist or Delegate action minutes converted from usage credits, priced at $0.50, $1.30 and $2.00 per 100 minutes of work. A higher level can be used for lower-level work. |
| Seat | One person's place on Lyric Teams or Lyric Enterprise. Each seat has its own allowances. |
| Self-reflection | Lyric's review and consolidation of what it has learned. Lyric reflects throughout the day, and performs a dedicated self-reflection each day outside working hours or, on Lyric Free and Lyric Pro, once it has been idle for a period. The daily self-reflection does not consume action minutes; one you initiate does. |
| Single sign-on | Signing in through an organization's identity provider, using OpenID Connect or SAML 2.0. Included with Lyric Teams and Lyric Enterprise. |
| Spend limit | An optional monthly cap on how much of your usage credits can be spent. |
| Standard seat | A Lyric Teams seat with 2,340 action minutes, 3 core hours, and 8 GB of each type of storage. |
| Task | A piece of work Lyric performs, prepares or tracks for you. |
| Team | A group of people within an organization, such as a department, with its own team administrators, team leads and members. Available on Lyric Teams and Lyric Enterprise. |
| Usage credits | A prepaid balance, in US dollars, used for usage beyond your allowances on any plan, including Lyric Free. Purchased credits remain valid for 12 months. |
| Usage panel | The tab at the bottom of every LyricOS page that shows your usage for the billing period. |
| Workflow | Recurring work Lyric plans and performs on a schedule or when a trigger occurs in a connected application. Each run consumes action minutes. Available on Lyric Max, Lyric Teams and Lyric Enterprise. |
| Working hours | The hours in which Lyric starts new work for a person. Outside them, only scheduled jobs start. Set by the person on Lyric Max and by administrators on Lyric Teams and Lyric Enterprise. |
| Workspace | Where the files Lyric creates while working for you are kept. Its contents count toward core compute storage. |
